Mangalore: ICWAI Celebrates ‘India Investors Week’ With Seminar

Mangalore, Jul 17: The Mangalore chapter of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI), in collaboration with ministry of corporate affairs, conducted a seminar on ‘Capital Market and Wealth Management’ at JB Pinto Memorial Hall on Friday July 16.

Ullas Kumar M, chairman, Mangalore chapter of ICWAI, welcomed the gathering.

Investment strategist Dr V K Vijaykumar of Geojit BNP Paribas Financial Services Limited was the chief guest of the programme.

Dr Vijaykumar explained about investors’ awareness and difference between working for money and making money work. He explained investment ideas where investors can get tax exemption as well as a high income and the benefits of investing in shares.

There was also an interactive session where the audience and Dr Vijaykumar shared their knowledge on investments.

The vote of thanks was given by B Harischandra, secretary,Mangalore Chapter of ICWAI.
