Mangalore: Cloistered Nuns of Carmel Celebrate Feast of Patron Saint

The Cloistered Sisters of Carmel celebrated their patron saint’s day at their chapel, Kankanady, with prayerful meditation on Friday July 16.
 
Bishop Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza presided over the Holy Mass along with other priests on Friday evening.
 


Fr John Sequeira, director, Rishivana, Ranipura, delivered the homily on the occasion.
 
Fr Joseph Martis, rector, St Joseph’s Seminary, Jeppu, Fr Henry Sequeira, Carmelite priests Fr Raymond Sanctis, Fr Walter D’Souza, Fr Baptist, and Fr Aureus, Fr Rony Prabhu and Fr Biju were the co-celebrants of the Holy Mass.
 
The Bishop distributed scapulars of Our Lady of Carmel to the faithful who attended the festal mass in large numbers.
