Mangalore, Jul 17: In connection with the molestation of 15-year-old girl from Orissa, City Central Railway Station employee and a tea seller were arrested by railway police on Friday July 16.

The duo has been identified as railway mechanic Nitish and Abdul Sattar Ayoob, a tea seller from Ullal. A case of sexual abuse has been filed. Both have been produced before the court.

Railway police inspector Vittaldas Pai said that the two of the accused would have convinced the girl to get into the coach of Pondicherry express train which was stopped for cleaning and meanwhile the incident might have taken place. It can be recalled that allegedly three men harassed a 15-year-old from Orissa and left her unconscious in the coach where she was found on Wednesday July 14 at around 11.30 am.

Pai said that the girl has been giving different statements every time and hence one cannot rely on her statements but for the truth to be known after the disclosure of medical reports. She has been sent to a Balamandir in the city.
