Moodbidri: Alva's Foundation Hosts Iftar Party

Moodbidri, Sep 1: God has blessed all of us with useful organs, a good heart and mind, which we should use properly said Alva's Education Foundation chairman Dr M Mohan Alva.

He was speaking at the Alva's Iftar Koota organized by the foundation at Vidyagiri here.

Vaarthabharati editor Abusalam Puttige was the chief guest.

Muslim students studying in Alva's College, Muslim dignitaries of the area and leaders were present

Iftar began with partaking fruits and ended with meals. Over 700 gathered for the party.

After mass namaz the message of Ramadan was highlighted.

Hey you Muslim youths of Moodbidri, you are luck to have him as your mentor and guide, do strengthen his hands to realize his dream to make this sleepy Moodbidri into a developed and famous town of our region. It is my proud privilege to wish Dr M Mohan Alva and his vibrant Muslim fellowmen Holy Ramzan Mubarak, Happy Krishna Jayanthi and Happy Feast of the Nativity of Mary. Jai Hind!

    Very good gesture by Alva's Education Foundation for organising Iftar. 700 guests including students and dignitaries shows the oneness of mankind in Alva's Insitute. Honouring fellow religion is bestowing honour on oneself. This great quality should be appreciate by all. Hat off to Dr.Alva for his generous heart and setting good example.
