Mangalore, Sep 4: Anand Amin (50), a resident of Gurpur Hosamane, died after he fell out of a rickshaw he was travelling in, on Friday September 3. The incident occurred near SCS Hospital in Bendore in the city.
Amin reportedly was travelling in the rickshaw for having lunch. As the driver of vehicle, which was moving at high speed, applied brakes suddenly, Anand got ejected from his seat and fell on the road. He suffered serious injuries, and was immediately admitted into a hospital, but he failed to respond to treatments and lost his life in the evening, the policemen said.
A case has been registered against the rickshaw driver concerned.
