London, Sep 28 (IANS) Legendary guitarist Keith Richards' wife Patti Hanson has revealed that her battle with cancer has brought the couple closer to each other.
The former model, who married the Rolling Stones star in 1983, was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2007 and was reportedly given a "50-50" chance of survival.
Having thankfully responded well to chemotherapy, Patti credits her devoted husband and insists the traumatic experience brought them closer together.
"We now have a really open relationship," express.co.uk quoted Patti as saying.
"I used to hold back so much from him. I didn't want to tell him the bad stuff. Now I tell him every little thing that's going on. I'm so blessed. I feel so healed," she added.
