Mangalore: Two PCs Get Promoted as Sub-inspectors

Mangalore, Oct 30: Two police constables from the district have cleared the test conducted by the state government for promotion to the category of police sub-inspectors, and therefore, have been chosen as sub-inspectors of police.

Raghavendra G K, a head constable in the district reserve police contingent, has been promoted. He had earlier worked as jeep driver in Kaup and Shirva police stations. He has secured fourth place in the list of candidates in service, and sixth spot in the general category.

Rajendra B is presently working as police constable in Kollur police station. District superintendent of police, Pravin Madhukar Pawar, has congratulated both the subordinates on their elevation as
sub-inspectors of police.
