Mangalore, Oct 30: A district level Kannada Rajyotsava function is being organized at 9 am on Monday November 1 at the Nehru Maidan in the city. District in-charge minister, Krishna J Palemar, will preside. He will also read out Kannada Rajyotsava message.
Zilla panchayat president, K Santosh Kumar Bhandary, MLA, N Yogish Bhat, and MLC, Capt Ganesh Karnik, will participate as chief guests, president of Rajyotsava Samiti said.
MLAs, U T Khader, K Abhayachandra Jain, B Ramanath Rai, Vasant Bangera, S Angara, Mallika Prasad, Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha member, Nalin Kumar Kateel, Coastal Development Authority chairman, Nagaraj Shetty, city corporation mayor, Rajani Dugganna, and Mangalore Urban Development Authority chairman, Dr Madhava Bhandary will also participate.
The committee further said that several other dignitaries will also be participating in the function as invitees.
