Udupi, Oct 31: Ever experienced a moment when gravity was overrated? 'Grab a Zorb' at TAPMI, Manipal, did precisely that.
The 'Zorbing event' was hosted by one of the participating teams, Team Triumph, at TAPMI's entreprenuerial event 'Defi' here on Saturday October 30.
‘Defi’ is a flagship event of Omega committee whose aim is to instill the sense of entrepreneurship in students. The participating teams will be judged on the parameters of promotion, profitability and Innovation.
Eight teams out of 22 applications were shortlisted for the event. These teams were provided with seed capital to experiment and display their business skills.
The 'Grab A Zorb' event attracted a huge crowd as students rushed to get a zorb ride.
'We want to break away from clichéd ideas and bring up something innovative," said Anubhav Kedia, the team leader of Triumph.
