M'lore: Vishwa Vaidya Ayurvedashram to Hold Special Abhyanga Camp on Diwali Days

Mangalore, Nov 1: Vishwa Vaidya Ayurvedashram, Vamanjoor, here will hold a two-day Abhyanga camp on account of Diwali on Thursday November 4 and Friday November 5.

The winter season is just setting in after the monsoon and the weather variation affects the health. Prominent among them is the skin, which gets affected the most. The impact is dry and broken skin. To treat the dry skin menace and to prevent dry skin, Ayurveda has prescribed massage or Abhyanga with special oils.

All those who undergo Abhyanga will be given the special “Deepavali Lehya”, a special preparation of Vishwa Vaidya Ayurvedashram for the season. The Deepavali Lehya improves digestive system and helpful in protecting the skin.
 
To mark the occasion, Vishwa Vaidya Ayurvedashram will also organize an exhibition of various collections of traditional lamps. These lamps are made of silver, brass, clay, shell and also of wood.
