Bangalore, Nov 1: The Popular Front of India (PFI) will file an appeal before the Supreme Court regarding Allahabad High Court's verdict on Ramjanmabhoomi-Babri Masjid title suit.

This was decided at PFI's national executive council meeting held at Bangalore on October 30 and 31, stated a press release.

"The organization has constituted a legal monitoring cell for the purpose. The meeting observed that the verdict of the Allahabad High Court is unjust, prejudiced and extra-legal," the press release stated.

Popular Front has been in the forefront of the struggle for justice in the Babri Masjid issue. In the present context the national executive council has decided to launch a massive campaign during December 2010 and January 2011 for creating awareness among the people about the Babri Masjid.

Moreover, the national executive council has decided to organize “national public health week” from November 21 to 28. The campaign aims to create health, hygienic and environmental awareness. The campaign will include programmes like sports, games, yoga classes, fitness camps, cleaning programmes, distribution of health awareness booklets and pamphlets.

The meeting was presided by Popular Front of India chairman E M Abdul Rahiman. General secretary K M Shareef, Dr Mahboob Shareef, Mohammed Elyas, V P Nasruddin, Mohammed Ali Jinnah, Afsar Pasha, Usman Baig and Riyaz Pasha and others were present, stated the press release.
