Mangalore: Rains Pound Isolated Patches – Heavy Rain Warning

Mangalore, Nov 3: Several places in Karnataka coast received rains on Tuesday November 2. Sullia and Subrahmanya experienced rains coupled with lightning all through the day.

Puttur, Karkala, Kadaba and Uppinangady received some rains in the afternoon. Dharmasthala and surrounding places in Beltangady taluk got light showers in the afternoon. Dark clouds hovered around the coast in the evening. Some places in Bantwal taluk, the city, Mulky etc., received some rains in the morning. In Bantwal taluk, some places got some rains in the evening too. The rainfall in Udupi and Kundapur taluks was scant, but for light showers.

The meteorological department has warned that the state’s coast may receive heavy rains, which may touch 65 mm, during the next 24 hours.
