Media Release

Mangalore, Nov 3: Dr Martin Jebraj called upon the graduates to come out of their individual thinking and develop the team spirit because in the present times it is required for the students to excel as a team.

He was addressing the 5th batch of BE students and the 2nd batch of MBA students on the Graduation Day of St Joseph Engineering College as the chief guest. He made an ardent appeal to the brilliant among them to come to the teaching profession.

Guest of honour Dr Solomon Ravikumar asked the students to make the right choice by listening to their inner voice. Be passionate in what you believe, he said. If what you are is a gift of God, what you
became will be your gift to God, he said.

Presiding over the function, Bishop Aloysius Paul D’Souza called upon the students to practice the ideals learnt in SJEC, be accountable to their inner voice and to society and always remember their college.

Earlier, Director Fr Valerian D’Souza brought out a volley of memories and extended his good wishes to the graduating students. Principal Dr Joseph Gonsalvis welcomed and convenor Shakila B proposed the vote of thanks.
