Udupi, Nov 3: Karnataka Rajyotsav celebrations were held at Madhav Pai Memorial College, Manipal, here on Monday November 1.

Dr Uppangala Ram Bhat, retired professor of MGM College was the chief guest. He enriched the students by his thoughts as how to develop the love for state language Kannada.

Madhav Pai Memorial School head teacher Jessy Andrews, Nursery head teacher Shantha Manohar and programme co-ordinator Dr Kusum were present. 

Malathi Tantry welcomed the gathering.  Akshay compered the programme. Parinitha proposed vote of thanks.

The cultural programmes were staged by the students as part of the celebrations.
