Puttur, Nov 3: Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM), Puttur Deanery Yuva Spandan was held at St Rita’s School ground under the leadership of ICYM, vittal unit.
The programme was inaugurated by Prof Paul Rego by grinding the rice in a traditional way.
Addressing the youth he said that they need to come forward to contribute to society in a radical way.
Sr Michelle B S, diocese lady animator said youth need to support their family. Always respect your parents and teachers, she added.
Savil Mascarenhas, leading business man said that youth need to be more aggressive and face the society in a keen manner.
Norbert Misquith, resource person delivered the session, Youth, peace and harmony.
Cultural variety competitions were held during the latter part of the day, which was won by Puttur, Sullia and Vittal units.
