M'lore: Seminar, Women Health Check-up at Fr Muller on Cancer Awareness Day on Nov 5

Mangalore, Nov 4: On the occasion of the National Cancer Awareness Day, the nursing service department of Fr Muller Medical College Hospital will conduct a seminar on 3 P’s – ‘Prepare, Preserve and Prevent’, cancer and women's health check-up at the premises on Friday November 5 from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.

The seminar will comprise very useful session for all the women as it will highlight various types of cancers in women. There will be talks on prevention of breast, uterus and cervical cancer at the conference hall of the hospital.

Research studies show that the incidence of breast cancer is higher in women who have longer estrogen exposure due to early menarche, late menopause, or nulliparity. Mostly women are very unconcerned in taking care of themselves. It is an opportunity forall the women to gain knowledge and be cautious about the killer disease, cancer.
