Mangalore: Sandesha's Kalotsava 2010 from Nov 8 in City

Mangalore, Nov 4: Sandesha Foundation for Culture & Education will hold the much-awaited Kalotsava 2010, a children’s festival of art and communication skills at the Sandesha Kalabhavan from November 8 to 13.

The inaugural function will be on November 8 at 9.30 am with Narayani Damodar, senior announcer, Akashavani, Mangalore, as the chief guest. The finale will be held on November 13 at 3.00 pm.

The festival intends to promote the talent among the children and also inculcate in them patriotism, communal amity and other human values.

The festival is open to  the students of the Higher Primary, High School and PUC classes with events like Western  Singing (Solo) Western Instrumental, (Keyboard),  Classical Dance, Classical Singing
(Carnatic Vocal and Hindustani Vocal), Folk Dance, Folk Songs, Patriotic Songs and Variety Entertainment.

November 11 has been set apart for the specially-abled children with events like Drawing, Fancy
Dress and Singing lined-up.
