I was in Mysore that time doing masters degree in Engineering and used to get details of this case in the local eveninger 'Star of Mysore' in the pre-internet era.

It is a matter of concern that it took 17 years for the verdict to come out from local court. Till it comes out from supreme court most of the accused and witness will already be dead. Moilyji do something to stop this delayed justice.

Kudos to the judiciary. Justice has been done. This is a landmark judgement and shall be referred are precedent in future cases. This verdict shall at least hinder the caste system and the so called upper caste people should take a note of it. God is just and impartial to his creations and who are these crazy, senseless upper caste people to make discrimination on the basis of birth. Arya Dharma beleives in karma and not in janma. Man can attain nirvana by is karma and not by his janma. Let these 20 upper caste people rot in the jail until death embraces them. Dalits must continue their fight of social equality and social justice.
