Mangalore: Allegation of Adulteration - Officials Raid Mutton Stall

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (SP)

Mangalore, Nov 5: On a tip off that a mutton stall in Kudroli was selling mutton mixed with beef, officials of the local city corporation, led by health officer, Manjaiah Shetty, raided Asif Mutton Stall located in the fish and meat market in Mudroli Alake on Thursday November 4.

For the purpose of checking the veracity of the allegations, a few samples of meat being traded in the stall were collected by the officials. Manjaiah Shetty informed that the samples would be despatched to laboratories located at Bangalore, Mysore and Hyderabad for testing. He said that further steps would be taken after receipt of the report, which might take about four days.

Policemen of Bunder station here provided security during the operation to ensure that no untoward incidents occur during the raid. Ali Hassan, office bearer of Fish and Meat Traders Association said that some vested interests had given wrong information to the corporation officials, and that the shop in question did not deal with anything other than mutton. He also threatened to file a defamation suit against the city corporation, if the samples were found to be in order.

"Fathima" - or whoever you are - please don't be a coward and use your real name if you want to write your view. Judging from the constant posion in your comments, We all know who you represent. It is amazing how low you people can stoop. You seem to think that the readers here are all fools who can be taken for a ride all the time.

As regards your points - well, you have a problem with a bus being burnt, but no problem with murder and rape of thousands during your co-called riots, that take place every now and then. Nearer homemany have been caught for the 2006 riots, where 2 people were killed, and for the attack on churches? How many have been caught for the killing of an entire family in Surathkal in the 1990s? The charges on a bus conductor was obviusly cooked up with the help of the law and order machinery. he gets life imprisonment on no evidence whatsoever, but those who gang-raped a Bangalore woman in Mangalore a few months ago are still roaming free. ever want to know what your "patriots" do during their "riots", even in mangalore?

Modi, Togadia, Ram Sena, Advani, Bajrang Dal, RSS, Thackeray, and more - If you have managed to keep count of the mass-murders and rapes they have been instrumental for, please let me know - It's too much for me to me to keep count of.

Adulteration of eatables including medicines, liquor, groceries, Bakery products should be strictly prohibited. There are no people to question or check the qualities of eatables sold in petty shops(Goodangadi) where majority of local made eatable products like wafers, chips, chocolates, cakes etc.sold to children, students and lower middle class people.
