Bangalore: State-level Konkani Cultural Fest from Nov 6

Bangalore, Nov 6:
A state-level Konkani cultural fest will be held at Kashi Mutt, 19th Cross Road, Malleshwaram, from Saturday November 6 to Monday November 8.  It will be held under the aegis of Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy, as well as metro-based Bala Kala Kendra ® and Federation of Konkani Catholic Association.
 
Govind Karajola, Karnataka minister for Kannada and culture, will inaugurate the fest here at 5.00 pm on Saturday November 6.
 
Narayan Kharvi Kundapur, president, Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy, will preside over the programme.
 
Malleshwaram MLA Dr Ashwatta Narayan C N, MP D B Chandre Gowda, entrepreneur Dr P Dayanand Pai, and Dwaraknath Mutt former managing trustee Dinesh Nayak will be the chief guests on the occasion.
 
Kharvi will preside over the valedictory ceremony at 5.00 pm on Monday November 8.
 
Mangalore-based Konkani Language and Cultural Foundation president Basti Vaman Shenoy, Manipal-based ACES Event Management Private Limited director K Narasimha Prabhu, veteran devotional musician Puttur Narasimha Nayak, renowned social worker Vatsala Prabhu, and metro-based Impression Printer director Bhadrinath Kamath will be the chief guests on the occasion.
