Mangalore, Nov 7: Deputy commissioner Subodh Yadav has suspended Ramesh S, second division land surveyor of Bantwal taluk for dereliction of duty, misappropriation of funds and irresponsible leaves among other reasons.
In a release, the DC informed that Ramesh did not answer to the notice served by the district administration on December 15, 2009 regarding his misuse of office documents. He had not turned up since January 4 this year.
The employee will be entitled to suspension allowance as provided under section 98 of Karnataka Civil Services Rule and will not be allowed to leave the headquarters without prior permission of his departmental head, Yadav directed.
