Karachi, May 25 (PTI) Indian sufi singer Rabbi Shergill's much awaited performance on Coke studio, Pakistan's most popular music event, has been cancelled due to a delayed visa.
The event has gained immense popularity in Pakistan and this year the organisers had invited Indian musicians to perform, with 'Bullah Ki Jana' hitmaker Shergill on top of the list.
An official statement from the organisers said that his visa had been delayed and he will not be able to feature in this season.
"We invited the talented Rabbi Shergill to the Coke Studio platform but his visa got delayed," said Rohail Hayatt, the producer of Coke Studio.
"Although he managed to make it at the very last minute, we were not able to do justice to his music and the platform, given the timelines. It's just not the way we would like to welcome any outside talent to CS.
