Belthangady: Holy Redeemer School Boys Kabaddi team qualify for District level

Belthangady, Sep 10: Holy Redeemer English Medium School bring laurels by winning the Taluk Level Kabaddi Tournament, held in Badagakarandooru, on 9th September.

The tournament was jointly organised by School Education and Literacy Department and Block Education Office, Belthangady, in collaboration with Government Higher Primary School, Badagakarandooru.

Holy Redeemer Primary School boys team won the Champions trophy and are qualified for the District level tournament, to be held on September 16th. Players also gained individual awards for their performances.
Manvith was awarded as Best All-rounder and Alin Azi was awarded as Best Catcher.

The team was trained by physical education teacher Sharath Pinto. Headmaster Fr Clifford Pinto congratulated the students on their joyous victory.
