Abu Dhabi, Feb 12 (IANS/WAM): Former US president Bill Clinton will deliver the keynote address at the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) Global Summit to be held in Abu Dhabi in April.
An impressive line-up of speakers for the two-day event includes British journalist and media personality David Frost, American actress and activist Daryl Hannah and environmentalist Jonathon Porritt.
The WTTC is the global authority on travel and tourism. It promotes sustainable growth for the industry, working with governments and international institutions to create jobs, drive exports and generate prosperity.
In 2011, travel and tourism accounted for 255 million jobs globally. At $6.3 trillion, the sector is a key driver for investment and economic growth. For more than 20 years, the WTTC has been the voice of this industry globally.
