Dubai, Mar 11: Police are hunting the killers of a security guard in Dubai who was stabbed to death and then set on fire. The man’s body was found opposite police headquarters in Deira by officers alerted to the scene by a strange smell.
The victim has been identified as a 30-year-old Nepalese man who worked as a security guard for a local car dealership. Police believe the man was stabbed to death in the building and then his body was dragged to the second floor where it was set alight to erase evidence.
CID officers are investigating the murder and a police source said a number of people had been taken in for questioning. The identity of the Nepalese man has not been released but embassy officials have been informed to arrange the body’s repatriation.

Tue, Mar 11 2008It was always believed that UAE is one of the safest places and the crime rate is 0% but now it looks like murder, rape, robbery has turned out to be a trend. Very sorry for the guard who has meted out such violence
