Bangalore, Apr 24: Ramee Hotels Pvt Ltd is coming up with their first five star property Ramee Grand at Bannerghatta Road in Bengaluru, which is scheduled to be operational by November 2010. The group which presently runs five four star properties under the brand name Ramee Guestline Hotels across India is also launching Ramee Guestline Hotel in Pune and in the suburbs of Mumbai. The amount of investment made on these three properties is around 700 crore.
“We are also looking for properties in Ahmedabad, Goa, Chandigarh, Goa and Mangalore. By 2015 we plan to launch 15 hotels across India. We also plan to launch our five star brand Ramee Grand in major cities. By the first quarter of 2009 we might come up with an IPO for all the upcoming properties,” says Sudhanshu Kumar Singh, Director & Group General Manager, Ramee Group of Hotels, Resorts & Apartments.
According to Singh, Ramee Grand, the luxury business hotel will have 180 rooms, an Indian restaurant (Its Mirchi), a lounge bar, a south Indian restaurant, Far East Seafood Café, a 24X7 coffee shop, a discotheque (Rock Bottom) and a fitness club.
Spread across an area of two acres, the property will dedicate four floors to commercial shops. It will have a banquet hall which can be divided into four separate banquets. It can accommodate around 5000 people. The property will be managed and operated by Ramee Hotels Pvt Ltd.
The group also plans to launch Ramee Guestline Hotel in Pune near Deccan Gymkhana which will be operational by August 2010. With an area of one acre the property will have 110 rooms and will be managed and operated by Ramee Hotels Pvt Ltd. Ramee Guestline Hotel, Pune will have a banquet hall with a capacity of 1500 people, a Chinese restaurant (Mahjong), a 24X7 coffee shop, a discotheque (Rock Bottom) and a health club.
In Mumbai the group plans to come up with Ramee Guestline Hotel in Khar which is scheduled to be operational by August 2011. The four star property spread across an area of 20,000 sq ft will have around 100 rooms, a banquet hall to accommodate 2000 people, a 24X7 coffee shop, a discotheque (Rock Bottom) and a multicuisine restaurant. The existing property Ramee Guestline Hotel, Dadar is also undergoing an expansion plan which will be completed in the next one year. The group has acquired a land adjacent to Ramee Guestline Hotel, Dadar and added 10,300 sq ft area to accommodate the discotheque (Rock Bottom) and banquet hall with a capacity of 2000.
