Pakistan, Iran Sign Gas Deal


Islamabad, Jun 14 (IANS): Islamabad and Tehran have signed a $7-billion agreement in the Iranian capital for supply of natural gas to Pakistan.

As per the deal Sunday, Iran will supply one million cubic meters of gas daily to Pakistan from 2014, Xinhua reported.

A 1,000-km-long gas pipeline, linking the two countries, will be built for the purpose. It will be completed within three years.
