Mangaluru: Parish Pastoral Council of Neermarga parish holds day-long get-together

Mangaluru, Oct 26: A day-long get-together was organized by Fr Anil D Mello, parish priest for the Parish Pastoral Council on the October 23.

The venue was Pavoor Uliya. The participants of the picnic started at 10 am with prayer and a feeling of a great day ahead. With an objective of team Bonding and improving collaboration, the entire group was divided into four teams - Rose, Jasmine, Sunflower and Tulip. Sister Sujatha was crowned the Queen of Sheba.

This was followed by fun and frolic in the form of ice breakers and a variety of group games like Moving On Up, Mad Ad, Dodge Ball, Drawing a Star, Saree Folding Challenge, Dog and Bone etc., were conducted by Fr Anil D'Mello, Prakash Pereira, Francis Gonsalves and Merlyn Pereira.

After a tiring and fun-packed morning, all the participants headed for lunch where they relished different items of food. Acting situational comedy by the teams served as amusement and entertainment. The participants then went for a boat ride. In Group Games and Activities, Jasmine group won the first place, Rose and Tulip bagged second and third places respectively and Sunflower secured the consolation prize.

Each and everymember enjoyed the day to the fullest with an environment filled with love and cheer. It was a glorious time for fun, laughter, a time to remember, a time to cherish those pleasant memories.
