Mangaluru: KSRTC resumes bus services from Bejai, Manipal to MIA

Mangaluru, Oct 27: KSRTC has resumed bus services to Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) from Thursday, October 27.

The bus service to the airport will start from Bejai terminus.

There will be another bus from Manipal in Udupi towards the Mangaluru International Airport that will ply via Kavoor, KSRTC sources said.

The initiative to start bus services to the airport was taken by transport minister B Sriramulu after requests were made by passengers to resume the service. Four Volvo buses from Mysuru have been brought here and pressed into service.

The bus service will begin at 6.30 am and traverse via Lalbagh and Kuntikan-Kavoor enroute to the MIA. The bus fare has been fixed at Rs 100 while it is Rs 300 from Manipal.
