Bantwal, Oct 29: A CCTV footage said to be pertaining to the case of waylaying of MLA Harish Poonja’s car has caused curiosity. However, police have not yet confirmed the video.
The matter is already under CID investigation. In the CCTV footage a car is seen driving at high speed. It stops suddenly by the side of the highway. The driver gets down from the car quickly, takes something from the back seat and drives off the vehicle. When this car stopped and the driver took something from the backseat, two cars pass by at high speed. The date and time on the CCTV camera matches exactly with the incident of waylaying of MLA Harish Poonja’s car. There is a high possibility that the footage might indeed be connected to the incident.
