Bantwal: MLA Rajesh Naik inaugurates Tulu Natakotsava

Bantwal, Oct 30: Tulu Natakotsava held jointly under the aegis of the Bantwal unit of Tulu Nataka Kalavidhara Ookkutta and Kannada and Culture department was inaugurated at the Sparsha Kalamandira by MLA Rajesh Naik.

Dayananda Kathalasar, president of Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy presided over the function. Former minister Ramanath B Rai, former president of Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy A C Bhandary, Bantwal Bunt Sangha president Chandrahasa Shetty Rangoli, Taluk Kannada Sahitya Parishat president Vishwanath Rai, industrialist Lateef M, Bantwal Merchants Cooperative Society vice-president Manjunath Rai Salethooru, Bantwal taluk Shamiyana Malikara Sangha president Maxim Sequeira, former member of Karnataka state Pollution Control Board Piyus L Rodrigues, Tulukoota Bantwal president Sudarshan Jain and industrialist Bhaskar Ajekala were present.

 

Mahabala Dasakodi was felicitated on the occasion.

Ookkutta president Subash Chandra Jain made the introductory remarks. Artist H K Nayanadu compered the programme and senior artist Manju Vitla proposed the vote of thanks.
