Mangaluru: Tulunadu Vedike to take legal action against indecent posts over Tulu language, devotion

Mangaluru, Oct 31: Tulunadu Daivaradhane Samrakshana Yuva Vedike has planned to take legal action against those who post indecent messages in the social media about Tulu language and customs of devotion to Tulunadu deities.

The organization has requested MLA Vedavyas Kamath to take action against a person named Kannadiga Shivaraj. The MLA has asked the police commissioner to immediately register a complaint in this connection.

The MLA said he has come to know of the insults pertaining to the beliefs of Tuluvas and about writing indecent remarks against their devotion to the deities.

Yuva Vedike leaders who visited police commissioner Shashikumar have submitted a written request to him in this connection. A complaint about it is registered at the Cyber Crime police station. Police department is planning to arrest the accused.

Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy former president Dayananda G Kattalsar, Tulunadu Daivaradhane Yuva Vedike convener Bharath Ballalbagh, Roshan Reynold, Santhosh Kumar, Tulu Rajya Bhashe Samithi’s Charith Poojary, Mandala Yuva Vedike president Jayachandra Kottara Cross, organizing secretary Ravi Kudumula Garden, Nandish, Prakrith, Nandan Yuvaraj, Abhish, Prithesh, Dhanush, Francis D’ Souza and others were present.
