Udupi, Nov 3: “As many as 20, 000 people will participate in the Janasankalpa Samavesha near Kaup bus stand at 10.30 am and 25, 000 people will take part in the Samavesha at Mullikatte, Byndoor at 4 pm on November 7,” said BJP Udupi president Kuyilady Suresh Nayak.

“Ground breaking and inauguration of various development projects worth Rs 1,318 crores will be conducted,” he said.

Speaking in the news conference held at the BJP district office on Thursday, October 3, he said chief minister Basavaraj Bommai and former chief minister B S Yediyurappa will take part in them.

The district BJP has requested the government to split KMF and create a separate milk federation for Udupi.

“New members will be recruited in the Samavesha. BJP district special executive committee meeting will be held at the Country Inn auditorium, Manipal on November 5 at 10.30 am. District in-charge minister S Angara, union minister of state Shobha Karandlaje, ministers Kota Srinivas Poojary, V Sunil Kumar, district MLA and party leaders will take part,” he said.

BJP district vice president Suprasad Shetty, district spokesperson K Raghavnedra Kini, assistant spokesperson Shivakumar Ambalapady, district convener Srinidhi Hegde, district secretary Guruprasad Shetty Katpady, district office secretary Satyananda Nayak, district ladies morcha president Veena S Shetty and district minority morcha president Dawood Aboobacker were present.
