Mangaluru, Nov 5: Federation of Dakshina Kannada auto drivers-owners has opposed the revised fare.
In its statement, the federation said, “Discussion was held on October 27 in the meeting which was presided over by the deputy commissioner. During the meeting it was conveyed that the minimum fare will be revised to Rs 35 and Rs 17 thereafter for every km. As the federation opposed the decision, concerned officers promised to revise the rate further. However, no meeting is held after that and the fare is revised suddenly.”
