7 women dead in Bidar road accident

Bidar, Nov 5 (IANS): At least seven women were killed and 11 people injured in a road accident on Saturday in Karnataka's Bidar district, police said.

The accident took place in Bemalkheda village when an auto carrying the victims collided with a truck.

The deceased were identified as Parvathi (40), Prabhavathi (36), Gundamma (60), Yadamma (40), Jaggamma (34), Easwaramma (55) and Rukmini Bai (60).

While six women were killed on the spot, one succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.

Police said of the 11 injured people, including the drivers of the two vehicles, four are in serious condition.

    Traffic police officer must draw tight and strict guidelines for all andu pondu drivers who have not passed driving tests but got licence and causing death to so many. Can you imagine this year I read so many deaths in Karnataka due to accidents. In manglore accidents are common since long time because no proper traffic police have born to guide andu pondu drivers strictly till now. Can traffic police officer count how many deaths and check if the roads are anku or donku. Please arrange proper roads so that not a single accident may take place. May be I have to become traffic police officer to solve all problems. I will ask rechecking driving licence of all who are driving regularly. If any rash driving then the party has to deposit 1 lakh rupees as safety guarantee. If he kills any body then the deposit money will go to dead people
