Mangaluru, Nov 5: BJP leader Ravindra Shetty Ulidottu on Saturday October 5 performed a special pooja at Kadri temple on behalf of B Y Vijayendra's birthday here on Saturday November 5.
Later, speaking to mediapersons, Ravindra said, “We prayed to the deity that the political career of B Y Vijayendra shines in the coming days. B S Yediyurappa is a great leader. He had worked for the farmers and suppressed classes.
“During his administration, he had introduced various famous programmes for the welfare of people in the state. Yediyurappa is a great leader who worked understanding the pulse of people of the state.
“We have prayed that in the coming days, after the assembly elections, let Vijayendra come to power in the state,” he said.
