Bantwal, Nov 5: “Unemployment is rampant in the country due to some of the decisions taken by the government and is troubling the people,” said AITUC chief secretary Vijay Bhasker D A expressing anguish against the government.

“The government is not filling vacancies. BJP which is known as 40% government is cheating people in the name of Covid. The followers of people representatives are creating bogus membership and looting the money because there are ample funds in the department of buildings,” he said.

“The hardships of workers are increasing in the state day by day. Workers in the unorganized sector are finding living difficult. Ordinary people are struggling to breathe in the increasing prices. Large numbers of suicides are committed among KSRTC workers after farmers. The government should solve the problems of construction workers, Beedi workers, KSRTC workers and project workers. The pensioners should be paid a pension of Rs. 6000,” he said.

H V Rao, Shekar, Suresh Kumar, Pravin Kumar, Seetarama and others were present.
