Moodbidri: Catechism Teachers Day celebrated at Alangar

Moodbidri, Nov 6: The Catechism Teachers Day celebration began with the adoration of the blessed sacrament at 7am praying for all of them.

Then at 7.30 am, the parish priest celebrated the Holy Mass thanking and praying for this year's 20 dedicated catechism teachers.

Soon after the Mass in the mini hall, in the presence of the Parish pastoral Parishad members all the teachers were felicitated with a shawl, garland, memento, and a small gift.

Sr Mable Prasanna HMR and her team conducted a small prayer.

Mable Lobo, secretary of PPP welcomed the gathering, Rajesh D'Souza, parish convener of commissions, spoke words of felicitation and highlighted their role and importance in the parish in forming the children in faith.

Parish priest expressed his gratitude recognising their sacrifice to carry out this noble task. Agnes D'Souza proposed a vote of thanks and Gracy D'Souza compered

All PPP members and cathechism teachers were present. Sumptuous breakfast was given to all gathered. Bible and catechism commission had organised this programme.
