Mangaluru, Nov 6: The title of the play 'Shudrashiva' which is based on life and ideals of Brahmashree Narayana Guru was unveiled by former union minister B Janardhana Poojary at a function.
The play is being put together by Rudra Theatre grouo of Mangaluru and is being directed by theatreperson Viddu Uchchila under the guidance of treasurer of Kudroli Sri Gokarnatheshwara temple Padmaraj R.
Vice-president of Kudroli Sri Gokarnatheshware Kshetra Urmila Ramesh Kumar and development committee chairman Devendra Poojary among others were present.
Already, a team comprising 21 artistes and technicians have been selected from different districts of the state through a selection process. After conducting a 40-day theatre workshop, the group will resume touring to stage the play, it is learnt.
