Udupi: Bhima Jewellers donates barricades to traffic police station

Udupi, Nov 8: Well-known Bhima Jewellers donated 20 barricades to the Udupi district traffic police station as part of its CSR project. Bhima Jewellers Udupi branch senior manager of corporate affairs, Sripathi Bhat handed over the possession of the barricades in a simple programme held at their office.

Sripathi Bhat said that they are donating the barricades considering their social responsibility, saving money from their business. “We assure of similar help to the society in the future too,” he said.

Udupi traffic SI Abdul Khader said that barricades were needed to control traffic in Udupi and they had requested Bhima Jewellers for them. “The barricades will be immensely helpful to control the traffic in Udupi,” he said.

The jewellers' Udupi showroom manager Ashwajith Rao, deputy manager Raghavendra Bhat, associate manager Prasanna Kumar and social activist Nithyananda Olakadu were present.
