Udupi: Lions club Udyavar Sunshine to organize drawing competition for children

Udupi, Nov 10: Under the leadership of Manava Bandutva vedike Karnataka Udupi District and Lions Club Udyavara Sunshine is organizing Udupi District level drawing competition on the occasion of Children’s day. The competition will be held on November 13 in Udyavara Xavier Sabhabhavan.

The competition will be held in 3 categories. 'Environment' will be the subject for class one to four students, 'Celebration' for class five to seven students and 'Nehru as seen by children' will be the subject for class eight to ten students.

In three categories first, second, third and 3 consolation cash prizes will be given and all the contestants who participated will be honored with a memento. Children will be provided with breakfast and lunch. The duration of the competition is two hours and the organizers will only provide the drawing sheet, all other accessories are to be brought by the contestants. Spot registration can also be done.

Under the leadership of Ronald Manohar Karkada, businessman and a member of the Manava Bandhutva Vedike Karnataka State Committee, the Udupi District Committee has already organized various social programmes. To encourage talent in children and children from different parts of the district this competition is organized. Organizers said that there are many students who have already registered and there is an opportunity to register on the spot.
