Udupi, Nov 10: A meeting of the government promises committee was held at Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru on Thursday, November 10.
The meeting was chaired by committee president K Raghupati Bhat. Discussions were held over pending promises of the commerce and industries department. Bhat brought the issues of sand supply to the notice of officials and directed them to take suitable action.
Dr Ramana Reddy, chief secretary, department of commerce and industries, Pankaj Kumar Pande, secretary, R Girish, CEO KIADB, Kurma Rao, deputy commissioner (DC) Udupi district, Prabhulinga Kavalakatte, DC Uttara Kannada district, M R Ravi Kumar, DC, Dakshina Kannada district and other officials were present.
