Bantwal, Nov 12: Karunakar Alva Amunjeguthu hoisted the national flag in the two-day 22nd Kannada Sahitya Sammelana being held at Amunje aided higher primary school. District Kannada Sahitya Parishad president Dr M P Srinath hoisted the flag of the parishad. Taluk Kannada Sahitya Parishad president Vishwanath Bantwal hoisted the Kannada flag.
School headmistress Suguna Sankappa Shetty, teacher Harish Rao, Taluk Kannada Sahitya Parishad president Jayananda Peraje, office bearers B Subrahmanya Bhat, Ramananda Noojippadi, D B Abdul Rehman, Ganesh Prasad Pandelu, P Mohammed, Welcome committee’s Janardan Amunje, Aboobacker Amunje and others were present.
School children sang the national anthem. Mudasir Kaniyoor and Balakrishna compered the programme.
