Bidar, Nov 27: Several leaders from different parties in Bidar joined JD(S) in the presence of the party’s deputy leader in the assembly Bandeppa Kashempur on Sunday.
Kashempur, the MLA from Bidar South constituency, garlanded the leaders and said the JD(S) is determined to come to power on its own in next year’s assembly polls.
“JD(S) must be strengthened from the grassroots level to ensure that the policies and programmes of the party can be implemented,” he said.
The JD(S) later participated in the release of the book by Kannada writer Dr Sanjukumar Ativale, Bhavagange, under the auspices of the Ativale Cultural Fouhdation, Ganganapalli Parivar and Sikindrapura Parivar of Bidar at the Channabasava Pattadevaru Rangamandir.
Legislative Council Chairman Raghunathrao Malkapure, Bidar Urban Development Authority chairman Babuvali, State Government Employees Association State Vice President Rajendra Kumar Gandage and others participated.
