Mangaluru, Dec 11: The 6th edition of Mangaluru Kambala under the aegis of Capt Brijesh Chowta will be held on January 22 at Goldfinch City ground.
The pre event meeting was held at Patthumudi Sowdha on Saturday December 10.
Former MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik said, "Kambala sport needs to be preserved for future generations. Youths need to be actively taking part in Kambala."
He called for maintaining the rich culture of the coastal belt through Kambala and requested all to support the 6th edition of Kambala.
District Kambala committees PR Shetty, Vijayakumar Kangimane, corporator Kiran Kumar Kodical, advisor Prasad Kumar Shetty, general secretary Sujeeth Prathap were present.
Convenor Sachin Shetty welcomed the gathering, Eshwar Prasad proposed the vote of thanks and Varun Shenava compered the meeting.
