Udupi, Jan 7: Kuyiladi Suresh Nayak, district BJP president, said, “If Vinay Kumar Sorake wants to have a public discussion, let him fix the date and time and inform us. I will come with the list of developments that have taken place during the rule of Congress and BJP in Kaup. There is no point firing in the air.”

Replying to the accusations made by former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake, Suresh Nayak said, “Let Sorake bring the list of works of 75 years. I will bring the list of the last 10 years and five years of the current BJP government. Sorake is matured. The Lokayukta which was killed by Congress was reopened by BJP. If Sorake is honest, let him complain to Lokayukta. Otherwise we feel that Sorake has a habit of making baseless allegations."

“The president of Bengaluru's contractors’ association says that there is a 40% commission demanded by the BJP ministers in all government works. There is Lokayukta in this state. Let them raise a complaint. Congress is misleading the people of the state. The same is being done by Sorake in Udupi," Nayak claimed.

Addressing Sorake, he said, “You said that for a work of Rs 35 lac, Rs 1 crore estimation is done. You provide the documents for the same and raise a complaint with Lokayukta. If you want to discuss development, then you should be ready to discuss it during Congress rule vis-a-vis the BJP in the last five years."

“Sorake is not going to win in Kaup constituency this time around for sure. All the cow thieves in Kaup are workers of Sorake. He is the one who bails them out. They all are followers of Sorake. Police department says a lot of things. Let Sorake tell specifically the name of the police and come for discussion. There are hundreds of tricks to win elections. There is no need to take shortcuts.”
