Kundapur, Jan 11: The historical annual fair of Goddess Kota Amrutheshwari temple (jaathre), mother to several children was held on Tuesday and ended on Wednesday.

Halu Habba and Genda Seve were held on Tuesday night. Tulabhara was held on Wednesday. Thousands of devotees prayed to the Devi, offered various services and took part in the Maha Anna Santarpane.

The temple was decorated with electric lighting, flowers and fruits. Temple president Anand C Kunder, chief executive officer Prashanth Kumar Shetty, managing committee members Ramadeva Aithal, Subraya Acharya, Sathish Hegde, Chandra Poojary, Susheela Somashekar, Jyothi Shetty, Sundar K, priest representative Subraya Jogi and others were present.
