Bantwal: Student beaten by gang for speaking to girl of other community

Bantwal, Jan 14: A gang assaulted a student for speaking with girl student of another community on the bus. A case in this regard is filed at Vittal police station.

The complaint is filed by Mohammed Shakeer, resident of Mangalapadavu of Veerakamba village on Kelinja residents Chandrashekhar, Prajwal, Rohit and three others.

Shakeer is studying in a private college at Balmatta in Mangaluru. On Thursday night, after the college hours, Shakeer was returning back home in a KSRTC bus. It is said that he offered chocolate to the girl student who was sitting next to him in the seat on the bus. As the bus reached Kelinja near Veerakamba village, six youths barged into the bus and assaulted Shakeer.

Vittal police are investigating further.

    wow. every day this is a fun nowadays. when such human beings are alive in this world, how we can improve? a muslim guy cant talk to a known hindu girl,? he cant give choclate to her? he cant share the seat in public transport? this is anyway a silly thing. even in other cases, , when these so called gundas take action,, then why police department is there? foolish people. i think they dont have any other work to do.
