Mangaluru, Jan 18: St Sebastian Church Permannur Thokkottu celebrated the Confraternity Sunday on January 15. The ceremony started with an hour of adoration conducted by Fr Steevan Coutinho the assistant parish priest at Adamkudru Chapel.
Thereafter Eucharistic procession was taken by the faithful with all devotion and reverence as Fr Cyprian Pinto the parish priest solemnly held the Blessed Sacrament and blessed the faithful on the open ground and then celebrated the Holy Eucharist as well as preached befitting homily.
The donors were honoured with blessed candles as Arun Dsouza the vice president of the parish council read out their names from the list and Jyothi Dsouza the secretary of the parish council read the list of the members of the parish council. At the end the refreshment was served to the gathered community.
