Udupi, Jan 18: Newly constructed Vegetarian Rail Restaurant on Platform number 1 at Udupi Railway Station was inaugurated on Wednesday, January 18. Sanjay Gupta, chairman and managing director, Konkan Railway Corporation Limited, inaugurated the new facility.
Balasaheb B Nikam, regional railway manager, Konkan Railway Karwar, Anurag Meshram, chief personnel officer, Konkan Railway and other senior officials of KRCL were present on the occasion.
The newly constructed restaurant at Udupi Station is one of the long pending demands of traveling passengers which has been fulfilled and will serve all type of delicious food as per the needs of the passengers. With this, one more passenger amenity gets added to Konkan Railway system at Udupi station.
Passengers have been requested to make use of the restaurant.
